Justice for Paws focuses on advocacy, equity, and justice. We have created both a DMV and Texas based rescue so we can help more animals in need. Many Texans want to work directly with rescues in their own backyard. We aim to make this possible through offering our Texas friends better access to more resources, a broad foster and adopter base, and knowledgable partners in ensuring Justice for ALL Paws.
If you have found a dog or cat and need a rescues help, please send pictures and a short description to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will work as swift as possible with our networks to find a foster, adopter, or even another rescue to help if we are not able to.
Justice for Paws advocates for all animals to be spayed/ neutered. Overcrowding in shelters is a direct result of unwanted litters or neglected pregnant animals. We can work with you to find a low cost clinic to get your animal spayed or neutered.
We understand the choice to rehome your animal is a difficult one and there are many choices for rescues/ shelters to assist. The first step is to fill out our owner surrender form found here. The next step is for Justice for Paws to evaluate the animal and ensure we are a good fit to rehome the animal. Justice for Paws relies on fosters to take an animal in prior to adoption. We will need to identify a foster and ensure the best fit. After we have a foster commitment, we will transfer the animal to Justice for Paws care. We will work diligently, as we do for every animal in our care, to find the best forever home.
